The Director of Marketing, Lead Generation & SEO is responsible for the operational management and day-to-day decision-making of our lead-generation and SEO Agency department. You will be managing a team of account managers, sales, and ads managers to deliver high quality results and customer experience in a single niche in alignment with the Referrizer brand, core values and methodology.
The Director of Marketing, Lead Generation & SEO is effectively an marketing agency manager, who develops a full-fledged agency with the support of Referrizer’s proven systems, executive team, financial backing, and social proof/brand.
You will have a high degree of autonomy and accordingly, a high level of responsibility. You must be extremely self-motivated and accept nothing less than the greatest levels of performance from yourself and your team.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor all members of the Referrizer Agency team, ensuring they meet or exceed targets and KPIs. Leadership responsibilities include:
- Lead teams effectively, set clear goals, and lead & motivate staff to achieve these goals
- Act as final decision-maker on the variety of day-to-day company tasks and projects
- Be the go-to advisor for the team on higher-level/complex tasks and questions as they arise
- Keep team morale high, individuals engaged & motivated, and offering feedback and performance reviews, as necessary
Operations: Provide effective operational management and guidance for all team members, ensuring seamless communication and execution across all departments. Operations responsibilities include:
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Managing company-wide projects -- meeting deadlines, holding the team accountable to their tasks, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Critically analyze the company for inefficiencies and finding ways to innovate and improve operations, deliver better results for clients and ultimately maximize profit margins
- Document existing processes, create SOPs, and ensure implementation of existing processes across all agency departments, holding team members and departments accountable
- Proficient in implementation and utilization of Project Management software tools to ensure campaigns are executed effectively and on schedule
- Ability to prioritize tasks, delegate responsibilities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Lead Generation Strategy: Work closely with the Media Buying team to develop and implement comprehensive lead generation strategies aligned with client objectives and industry best practices. Lead generation strategies include:
- Understanding why certain campaigns are performing well vs. other campaigns that are not performing as well
- Providing strategies to improve media buying results
- Continuously analyze campaign performance data and make data-driven optimizations to improve lead quality and conversion rates.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing lead generation services, as a media buyer,PPC manager or other role, with a proven track record of success
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in leading, supervising and managing employees across multiple departments
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, email marketing, and social media.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems
- You can analyze systems at multiple levels of complexity, and balance the long-term goals of your agency with it’s short-term needs
- You are comfortable working 100% remotely, managing your schedule, your team, and meeting deadlines without direct supervision
- Driven, competitive, and confident with coaching others and setting expectations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
Working Hours:
- Working Hours from 9 am EST to 5 pm EST, Monday to Friday
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary $42,000 to $48,000 per year, with a progressive career growth path
