Following the successful approval of the investment in Macedonia, Ohrid we are looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager/ Lead Expert – Planning Processes to join our Global Supply Chain Planning team.
The new colleague will be functionally reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain Planning with focus of activities:
Main focus of the new position is expected to lead local, regional and global cross-functional projects to improve Supply Chain Planning at KOSTAL, including projects related to “Data Transparency – Supply Chain Management”, which is a part of the Strategy 2030 of KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik. As part of the Global Supply Chain Planning team, you will continue and complete selected existing projects as well as initiate and start new improvement projects.
As the secondary focus, will be support of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, which we started to implement last year. S&OP currently includes supply planning with focus on quantities and prices. Supporting the S&OP process, you will develop and create reports & analyses with focus on purchasing price development. You will use several tools to analyse and track the price development, and will coordinate actions to improve our purchasing prices. Furthermore, you will be part of the team, which improves the existing S&OP processes and tools as well as develops and rolls out new processes and tools.
The position will be located at our KOSTAL plant in Ohrid – Macedonia within the plant’s Logistics and Supply Chain department, where it will be disciplinary reporting.
Depending on engagement target on the main focus activities above as a primary global role, the our new colleague will also be working together with the plant’s Logistics and Supply Chain team.
Ideally, candidates will have a relevant University Degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration.
In addition, candidates should ideally have the following background, skills and qualifications:
- Experience of 3 years in supply planning or a comparable role within distribution, warehousing, logistics, procurement and production planning
- Good knowledge about supply chain end-to-end processes and interdependencies between supply chain key figures
- Experienced in working in cross-functional, international projects, ideally in a (sub)project leader role
- Experienced in relevant modules of SAP R3 or SAP S/4HANA and in SAP Business Warehouse and SAP Analytics Cloud or other ERP systems
- Automotive supplier or OEM background would be preferred
- Willingness to travel to Germany and other KOSTAL locations
- To be fluent in English is mandatory; other language skills are an advantage (e.g. German)
- Good & proactive communication skills and flexibility
