Following the successful approval of the investment in Macedonia, Ohrid we are looking for a Global Supply Chain Network Design & Cost Manager/Lead Expert to join our Supply Chain Management team.
The new colleague will be functionally reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain Strategy & Network Design: Duties will include but not limited to project lead for local / regional / global Supply Chain Network projects, analysis and definition of strategic action fields within the global Supply Chain network, coordination of global Supply Chain network actions, optimization and creation of cross-functional processes to improve transparency & costs, simulation of different digital Supply Chain scenarios (inclusive selection and maintenance of state of the art Supply Chain tools), key user for future Supply Chain network tools, conduction of project controlling and cost optimization tasks, coordination of Supply Chain actions in interdisciplinary projects and the support of system and tool rollouts.
The position will be located at our KOSTAL plant in Ohrid – Macedonia within the plant’s Logistics and Supply Chain department, where it will be disciplinary reporting.
Depending on engagement target on the main focus activities above as a primary global role, the our new colleague will also be working together with the plant’s Logistics and Supply Chain team.
Ideally, candidates will have relevant University Degree in Engineering / Economics / Business Studies
In addition, candidates should also ideally, have the following:
- Experience of 3 years in a comparable role within distribution, warehousing, logistics, procurement and production planning required
- Good knowledge about supply chain end-to-end processes and interaction of SC key figures
- Experienced in working in cross-functional, international projects, ideally in a (sub)project leader role
- Experienced in relevant modules of SAP R3/ S4 HANA; SAP BW, digital twin tools is an advantage
- Automotive supplier or OEM background required
- Willingness to travel to other KOSTAL locations (up to 50-70%)
- Fluent in English; other languages, e.g. German is an advantage
