ACCOUNTANT
Job responsibilities:
- Manage all types of accounting transactions
- Publish financial statements timely
- Carry out settlement of accounts with linked companies and foreign third parties
- Preparation and entry of Personal Income tax forms
- Correspondence with the state institutions and independent auditors, as required
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Supporting audit process
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Prepares payments and confirms with the banks that the payments have been made, if necessary
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance preferred
- Proven experience minimum 10 years in accounting
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Must possess strong analytical interpersonal and communication skills and can work with minimal supervision in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skill
- Self-motivation and the ability to take initiative and multitask
- Good knowledge of English language; Turkish is also preferred
