IFRS/Reporting Senior
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to management
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Stay updated on changes in IFRS and ensure the company's financial reporting practices are in compliance
- Implement new accounting standards and provide guidance on their impact on financial reporting
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and support
- Address and resolve audit queries and findings promptly
- Develop and maintain internal controls related to financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct regular assessments of internal controls and recommend improvements
- Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making processes
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data and trends
- Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial information and ensure alignment with reporting requirements
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting processes
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, with a strong emphasis on IFRS
- Experience working multinational corporation is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of IFRS and its application
- Proficient in financial analysis and financial statement preparation
- Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with ERP systems (Pantheon)
- Knowledge of local GAAP and other international accounting standards
- Good command of English, Turkish is also preferred
