Field Marketing Manage

Responsible for:

 

 

 

 

 

The Field Marketing Manager oversees marketing activities for a specific group of products. He/she works to align the team, engage stakeholders, adapt plans to local needs, and identify growth opportunities.

  • Oversees the development of local Brand plans in line with country and global Novartis standards and strategy.
  • Recommends field plans to attain the agreed targets for North Macedonia, including specific promotional and marketing activities, events and materials.
  • Manages Brand-relevant promotional and marketing initiatives targeted at HCPs by ensuring their proper alignment and contributes to the development of contacts and communication in the context of the Brands between our company and external stakeholders (distributors, pharmacists, representatives of competent authorities and institutions, partners and service providers).
  • Maintains beneficial partnerships in connection with ongoing marketing and promotional activities with agencies and external partners in line with approved standards and procedures by ensuring alignment between agencies and the respective internal and external stakeholders.
  • Follows up on the outcomes and progress of plans and objectives by using appropriate tools and, where necessary, takes corrective actions to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Regularly conducts on-site visits to stakeholders, including country medical experts, with whom he/she collaborates and partners at the highest level. Continuously enhances his/her market awareness (competitors, key medical experts, customer potential, etc.) to support in appropriate and efficient integration of plans and strategies.
  • Manages the budgets assigned to the Brands and/or product portfolio. Handles return evaluations for tactical programs and, where necessary, adjusts investments in ongoing projects.
  • Performs analyses and prepares country market share forecasts for the relevant Brands, as required by our company, and communicates thereof, including at specifically convened meetings of regional leaders and functions.
  • Maintains a database of KOLs and experts in the therapeutic area in the HCP interaction management system (currently OnCore), hereinafter referred to as the “CRM system”. Monthly plans and registers any undertaken visits to targeted HCPs.
  • Capable of successfully deputizing and representing the Primary TA Head at certain meetings and in certain working groups.

Ethics and Compliance:

  • Observe strictly any and all applicable internal and external regulations, acts and procedures, including, but not limited to: Internal Rules, Code of Ethics, Corporate Citizenship, P3, local industry code etc.
  • Responsible for proper and compliant reporting of Adverse Events in order to fulfil all regulatory requirements and ethical obligations including timely forwarding of all spontaneous reports to local Drug Safety Responsible.
  • Complies with the GxP quality requirements applicable to his/her area of responsibility, incl. but not limited to proper reporting of adverse events and customer complaints, samples handling as well as any incident that may adversely affect the quality, safety, identity, strength, purity, availability or efficacy of a commercial product or clinical trial material and/or may compromise our reputation.

Qualifications:

 

 

Education: 
  • University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, Dentistry or other relevant education in life sciences. Additional degree in Business or Economics will be considered an advantage.
Languages: 
  • Proficiency in English and North Macedonian – written and spoken 
Experience: 
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry. 
  • Advanced marketing knowledge (market analysis, launch strategies for new brands, co-positioning and management of a product portfolio, establishment of strategic imperatives, marketing research, digital marketing and OMNI channel communication client engagement strategies).
  • Ability to develop excellent relationships with all key stakeholders and a very strong customer focus.
