Junior Business Analyst - Reporting
Position Overview: As a Junior Business Analyst in Reporting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of reports used across various departments and tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date reports and providing ad-hoc reporting support as requested. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a keen analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and expectations.
- Maintain and update existing reports to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Develop new reports as needed to support business operations and decision-making.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting support to stakeholders, including data analysis and visualization.
- Ensure consistency and adherence to established reporting standards and policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in reporting workflows.
- Assist in data collection, validation, and cleansing activities as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data to derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in reporting or data analysis is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
