Role Overview

Senior Network Engineer is a leadership role responsible for leading network design projects, providing technical expertise, and mentoring junior engineers. They play a key role in shaping the organization's network strategy and architecture. 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Principal and Distinguished Engineers to design and implement different projects.
• Senior network engineers are in constant contact with the Program Lead and Directors. They must create and present regular network reports in weekly meetings.
• In-detail plan and execute complex technical activity, influencing the direction of activities/plans and providing technical insight and guidance to Network Engineers and Network Analysts.
• Training and mentoring new staff to understand the project scope and requirements within engineering systems.
• Supporting wider team with knowledge share, via knowledge base communications (emails, how-to guides etc.) and contribution at team meetings
• Ability to analyze and evaluate networks, identify issues, and provide solutions to ensure services are operating efficiently.
• Recognize, identify, and prioritize incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies and operational impact.
• Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures.
• Based on Project needs, support multiple technical teams in 24 x 7 may be required. Varied shift schedules may include day or evening hours.
• Comprehensive understanding of complex network services within project
• Take direction from Program Leads within the department.
• Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives
• Other appropriate duties that are assigned from Program Lead or the company management. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or related role.
• Expertise in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security, systems, and best practices.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• English Language Proficiency is Required
• Certifications such as CCNP or equivalent are highly desirable.
