POSITION TITLE: Pricing and Move Coordinator

Pricing and Move Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE:
- Maintain high level customer service and serve as single point of pricing and coordination for assigned import and export moves/shipments.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/FUNCTIONS TASKS:
- Respond immediately to customer requirements with price.
- Manage and monitor moving jobs from pick up to delivery; origin to destination, domestic and international.
- Daily review of active job details and related quote in order to identify opportunities for extra revenue and additional pass through costs thereby increase overall profitability
- Provide excellent Customer Service. Update clients on daily basis and provide xls updates when it is necessary.
- Manage customer expectations and help address or identify concerns quickly and seek solutions with support from the Regional Manager.
- Update system, open, invoice and close jobs, enter comments and statuses on daily basis.
- Check required customs documentation for import and export shipments. Inform relevant parties on documentation requirements.
- Requesting and booking of export and import shipments with agents and vendors.
- Assist with requesting transport and service quotes from agents and vendors.
- Work closely with the Senior Operations Coordinator to assure they understand any service uniquenesses or trends that need to be identified when calculating pricing.
- Keep track of customer payment terms and make sure billing is done accordingly.
- Meet the time frame set for closing jobs, verifying all costs and sells entered in the job and invoicing the customers.
- Inform the General Manager on updates, glitches, problems and any new business / operational requirements immediately so that communication is shared internally to better support and prepare the customers.
- Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
- Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year Coordination Experience, preferably within the field.
- Strong English skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent knowledge of MS office and other applications
- Preference of College degree.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization.
- Ability to gain respect and build good relationships with customers, partners and colleagues.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Effectively works well under pressure.
