This position is physically based in Procredit reporting company Skopje but the individual will be part of a larger Controlling team located in ProCredit Holding in Frankfurt am Main. We are seeking for a motivated
Controlling Specialist – Cost Control (m/w/d)
Your role in the team
- Develop and maintain groupwide cost control processes and methodologies
- Regular analysis of cost variances and identify trends to assist in budget planning and forecasting
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management regarding cost performance and recommendations for improvements
- Help develop a groupwide framework for strategic resource allocation
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and assess financial data
- Conduct regular reviews of departmental budgets and forecasts in the group’s German entities to ensure alignment with financial objectives
- Assist in the identification of cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements, in particular in the group’s German entities
- Develop a groupwide procurement and cost management framework
- Support the ProCredit banks in the development of controlling-related activities
What we expect
- You have a university degree in Finance or Computer/Data science or related disciplines
- You have already gained meaningful experience in the area of financial controlling/analysis within a financial institution
- You possess over general knowledge of principles of IFRS accounting, especially in the context of financial institutions
- You feel comfortable using MS Office products, especially Excel, and ideally have come in touch with Power BI and SQL in the course of your career
- You have an excellent command of English in speaking and writing; German is a plus
- You possess over strong analytical and interpersonal skills and are diligent and accurate in your work
- You have a strong interest in the Eastern European countries, economies and banking sectors in which ProCredit operates
