Wik Macedonia has an opening for the following job position:

Position: Technician
Department: Facility Maintenance 

Major Job Responsibilities:

• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
• Perform maintenance of electrical systems.
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary.
• Define and maintain facility equipment spare parts list
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Define, maintain, and standardize facility maintenance tools.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Keep 6S status of machine rooms at high level.
• Participate in developing ideal technical solutions for facility.
• Other day-to-day activities.

Competency requirements:

Personal Compentency:

• Strong communication skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and good teamwork spirit.
• Demonstrated time management skills and including multi-tasking.

​Functional Compentency:

• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, plumbing and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem - solving skills.
• Read and understand blueprints, construction drawings, and schematics.
• Good physical condition and strength.

​​Education: High school degree in technical sciences (electrical, mechanical).
 

Language proficiency: Basic english in reading, writing and speaking.
