Reporting directly to Head of Purchasing and Supply Chain organization of KOSTAL Macedonia, the position requires strong focus on achievement plant KPI’s, full inventory management and maintaining optimal inventory levels, operations efficiency, logistics cost control and their constant day to day improvement. Directing, optimizing and executing highest level of operations performance of the plant order cycle: customer delivery performance, monitoring and control of supplier’s delivery performance, steering of master production planning including production plant mid and long term plans, warehousing, packaging and administration, plant material flow, pre-serial logistics projects, processes automation development. Liaison and negotiations with automotive suppliers, service providers and final customers/OEM’s.
It should undertake a Leadership role with strong focus on constant development of our professionals and teams with-in Logistics department, as well as close liaison and coordination with other plant departments - primary Production, Quality and Engineering.
The position will also require close liaison with the functional counterparts on regional level with focus on KOSTAL Macedonia activities.
Ideally, candidates will have relevant University Degree (Economics, Business, Logistics) or higher in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, Economics area / Business Studies/ Engineering are also applicable.
- Acting working experience in a comparable role within logistics management professional area
- Strong knowledge of logistics and operational supply chain “end-to-end” processes and interaction of sales , production and procurement figures is required
- Knowledge of SAP or other MRP/ERP (Material/Enterprise Resource Planning systems), with proven work experience in operational plant environment
- Experienced in supplier and customer coordination and audits
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and Lean mind-set
- Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
- Proven experience in leading people, diverse organisational structures and coordination of cross functional teams
- Organizational and Team management skills
- Team player, Proactive, Well motivated
- Ability to work on tight deadlines under pressure
- Possibility to travel to EU or other oversees KOSTAL locations, as well supplier and customer locations
- Advanced MS Excel, Word, Access, E-Mail - Outlook skills are must. Knowledge in BI and other advanced software is an advantage.
- Automotive supplier or OEM working background will be considered as advantage
- Risk management (e.g. risk FMEA) are is considered as advantage
- Fluent in verbal and written Macedonian and English language
- Knowledge of German language will be considered as advantage
