Pabau is a bootstrapped software company founded in the UK, with a Head Office in Skopje, North Macedonia.
Pabau CRM is our all-in-one clinic management system that helps businesses to run more smoothly. If a clinic needs to do something, our system either fully automates the process, or makes it easier (think Hubspot, but for businesses with a medical element).
Everything from storing treatment notes, automated appointment reminders, emails, staff management, reporting, payment systems – seriously, you name it, our system does it.
In fact, our feature rich system is the market leader in the UK for the medi-aesthetic sector, with over 1,500 businesses and 15,000 users.
Over the past 2 years the business has quadrupled, and the plan is to increase this speed of growth even further.
PHP intern
The role:
As a PHP Intern, you will work closely with our experienced developers to learn and improve your PHP programming skills. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of our web applications, including coding, testing, and debugging. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and functionalities.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing web applications.
- Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality.
- Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Familiar with PHP, and a good understanding of basic syntax and functionality.
- Strong skills in HTML and CSS for creating responsive and user-friendly web pages.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and JQuery and its integration with PHP applications is desirable.
- Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and basic SQL queries.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for web development.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
