Assistant Truck Driver Dispatcher / Track&Trace
Position Overview:
As a Truck Dispatcher at Freightech Inc., you will play a crucial role in the coordination and execution of transportation operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Dispatch Coordination: Assist in coordinating the dispatch of truck drivers for timely and efficient deliveries.
- Route Planning: Collaborate with the dispatch team to plan and optimize truck routes, considering factors such as delivery schedules, traffic, and fuel efficiency.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with truck drivers, providing them with necessary information, instructions, and updates.
- Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of shipment details, including delivery schedules, driver logs, and any other relevant information.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the transportation process, ensuring minimal disruptions.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers to provide updates on delivery schedules, address inquiries, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in dispatch assisting is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in using dispatching software and other relevant tools.
