Cultivation operator
Job role
As a member of Nedcann cultivation team the cultivation operator will cooperate with other cultivation associates and the head of cultivation in implementing the agricultural plan. The health of the plants is the primary responsibility of cultivation operator. Among the duties of the cultivation operator will be the following: executing plans for watering, planting, fertilizing, trimming, harvesting and etc. Within the cultivation operator role there is a substantial emphasis on cleaning. The cultivation operator is primarily responsible for cleaning, upkeep and sanitation of the workplace area, including, but not limited to, setting up rooms, washing and sanitizing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Placing net in the flowering rooms
- Cleaning and fulfilling of flowering and vegetation rooms
- Trimming dry and wet flower
- Cutting and maintenance of mother plants
- Dead plant removal
- Monitoring of cultivation rooms
- Preparation of fertilizers
- Writing reports for vegetation and pre flowering phase
- Cutting and maintenance of plants
- Harvest preparation
- Fulfilment of documentation (MI, working orders, harvest reports, reports for supervisors )
- Monitoring of plant marking
- Monitoring and control for diseases for each plant
- Transport of plants to the trimming room
- Conducting trimming process
- Transport to the drying room
- Assisting with all aspects of the company's cultivation operations from seedling to harvest
- Supports the Agronomist in various ways such as planting, trimming, irrigating, cutting drying and pruning plants
- Assisting in monitoring and documenting plant growth.
- Follows SOP’s and comply with all safety regulations
- Perform daily work in assigned cultivation rooms such as cloning, transplanting, pruning, plant training, and cleaning of cultivation rooms/work areas
- Correct performance of production-relevant steps in accordance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice
- To ensure that the products are manufactured and stored in accordance with the appropriate documentation in order to ensure the required quality.
- To approve the instructions regarding production operations and to ensure their strict implementation.
- To execute of qualification and maintenance of premises and equipment in production department
- Ensure that the production records are properly documented
- Monitoring and control of the production environment.
- Inspection, testing and sampling in order to monitor the factors that may affect the quality of the product.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in irrigation or cultivation (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work in rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts).
- Basic knowledge of plant biology and irrigation techniques (preferred but not required).
- Detail-oriented and reliable.
- Basic Knowledge of English
