DISPATCHER / Recruiter
JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENts for Dispatcher:
- English, advanced .
- Booking loads on the spot market ,acquiring loads rates from customers and brokers with complete accuracy on time and hours available and needed to perform the load
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry;
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Experience with dispatching software or systems ;DAT, Ditat TMS
- Familiarity with refrigerated operation .
- Experience in customer service;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities;
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair is an advantage.
- Ability to keep full control over the truck and driver at all times as well as manage drivers down time and PU/DEL, assisting with any delays (Track and Trace ).
- Request detention and layover at all times when delayed .
- Driver coaching so we can adjust driver operation with company policies .
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
REQUIREMENts for Recruiter position:
- Previous recruiting experience (preferably in the trucking or transportation industry).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with trucking industry regulations, including CDL requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and online recruiting tools.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in US market;
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency with dispatch software and technology.
